They don't serve you water, though. You have to use tiny plastic cups you fill up from a cooler. I didn't really appreciate that.
There is indoor and outdoor seating. Very pet friendly with a few tables outside Reserved for pets and their humans. The views and casual atmosphere are awesome. The fries were fabulous as was the corn off the cob and the hamburger is local sourced beef. There are going to be lines and waits during tourist season, but I didn't mind. Staff was great.
We follow the pack. Like birds in a flock or sheep in a pasture, we follow -- sometimes at our own peril. Just because there is a line at this place, people think it must be good and they start lining up for overpriced, mediocre food. Check out their nasty toilets. They are too busy charging you at the cashier window but no one there seems to care enough to keep toilet clean. Eat at your own risk! Capt'n Eli Root Beer is a joke! Taste just like any root beer out there! People work there seem very "open minded" as well! They tend to make fun of people with accent!
Definitely go for the fresh lobster roll and lobster stew. The stew was honestly the highlight of the meal. But everything was very fresh and succulent. Generous about of meat in the lobster roll. The view of the harbor at sunset as a real treat too.
Phenomenal crab cakes and salmon. The view is not really all that amazing, as much as they market it. Really great character and atmosphere to be out in though. A little pricey, but hey: seafood.
We each had fried scallops one night and a 1-3/4 lobster a second night. Scallops were cooked perfectly, large and sweet. The lobster was unbelievably sweet. We definitely have to come back at least one more time for lobster. Yum, yum, yum!
