Mark & Buzz were the most wonderful hosts for our first visit to Maine. They were incredibly responsive leading up to the trip, and they helped us plan our perfect stay in Boothbay. First of all, this is the absolute best B & B that I have ever stayed. Karen & I love the Boothbay area and, as a result, we go to the Topside a couple of times a year. We have NEVER been disappointed. This past weekend we took part in the Foodie & Brewery Weekend and it was perfect. We are still talking about how much fun we had.
Mark and Buzz have designed an experience that is without equal! If you're looking for a spot by the sea with every detail considered - from luxurious linens to phenomenal breakfasts, as well as an amazing staff, we highly recommend the Topside Inn. Another perk - no need to move your car. Located in the heart of Boothbay Harbor - shops, tours, and restaurants are all within walking distance from the inn.
Topside Inn is far and away the best B&B we have visited. It is truly a 5 star experience, and Mark and Buzz go the extra mile for every guest. They attend to every detail, have first class staff helpers, cook and serve breakfast each day, and make superb cookies late each afternoon. Those cookies disappear quickly. Their website clearly and accurately describes each and every room choice. Views down to Boothbay Harbor are stunning. We will return in 2018 and will bring friends and family.
Topside Inn was wonderful in every way! The setting is excellent and the Inn is so charming - with rockers on the porch or Adirondack chairs on the lawn - to relax and take in the beautiful harbor views. Speaking of views ... our "room with a view" and a comfy window seat was perfect. Breakfasts were delicious ... and the afternoon cookies were a treat. Best of all - Buzz & Mark are the consummate hosts - engaging, welcoming, helpful, and fun! We can't wait for our next visit!
