Great location and views. Rooms are decent, maybe outdated somewhat. Food in the restaurant was ok. Special was halibut with lobster for $28.99. Not worth it! Small shavings of lobster on a small piece of halibut. I asked for 2 servings of veggies for my 2 sides and only got one. Not impressed at all! Service was good and drinks were great.
Having a great time in the bar. Live piano and a great view of the Harbor from the bar. Local beers on draft. You can even order food from the main menu, too. All seats are full and the crowd is into the songs being played (songs from the 40's to 70's). The bar was recently remodeled and they added a large window that looks out directly towards Tumbler island. You can't help but to have a great time!
My wife and I stayed at the Tugboay Inn for 4 nights. The location is right on the harbor and the views are beautiful. Room was excellent and clean. Ladies at the front desk were more than helpful going out of their way to map out local places for us to visit. There's also a restaurant on the premises in an actual old Tugboat. Ate breakfast here every day and had dinner here twice. Did was A+ and service was quick and good. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Boothbay Harbor.
Great place. Friendly staff. The room we had was huge with a full kitchen! Basically a large 1br apartment. Obviously the location is perfect if you have a boat in the harbor.
Had a lovely stay. Loved our room at the end of the wharf.
